My friend recently send me some word docs but I want to covert this files so they could work on Microsoft Works (.wps) or Open Office.|||Download and install the free Microsoft Compatibility Pack. It will let Microsoft Works open .docx type files. Note that it may not set up the .docx files to open Works Word Processor when clicked, but the File->Open menu in Works should be able to find the .docx files. Hope that helps.|||Open the file, click file, save as, choose the file name you want to name it as, then under the file name, it'll say choose file type. Click the down arrow and see if you're able to save it as the file type you want.
