nope, you can have both|||No you can have both on your computer at the same time. But why would you need to nearly identical office programs? |||no it doesnt|||it didnt on my laptop but windows couldnt open the doc. from open office. it only worked opening a windows doc in open office so it was a bit crap|||To give a simple one word answer, NO. The only time you might want to remove "Office" is if you were low on hard disc space. Otherwise if the space is there, you can mount both applications on your system and use them at the same time even.
This is more for kalindi and you, "Open Office" is saved in RTF (Rich Text Format), "MS Office/Word" is saved in "Word" format. This is one of the reasons a ".doc" "MS Word" document can not be opened by "Open Office". Even some of the older version MS Word .doc document can not open the newer MS Word .doc's.|||No.. you can keep both in your PC..
