windows office: hi i have window vita basic hp laptop 32bit i want to upgrade it to home premium ( cd is also 32bit) but i have windows office 2003 installed and my laptop, will that and other files all get erased?|||hi i think u should not upgrade as everyone suggests a fresh install, unless u r just doing it for testing purposes. so just take the office 2003 on backup and do a clean install bcos in a clean install everything on the hdd gets wiped up. i hope this helps.|||You are always best to do a fresh install. But if you want to upgrade, why not do a real upgrade and get MS 7?|||if you upgrade you wont even notice any changes except for the Aero interface. no files will be erased just make sure you upgrade from windows vista basic environment.|||i'm not sure, try contacting microsoft.|||no it wont . but just backup your files , if they are really important to you
