I just got a scanner, and it came with basic software. The manual said I could convert OCD files into Word but I'd have to pay another $100 for special software to do so. Is there a way to do it with some freeware, shareware, or just manipulating Windows office?|||Do you mean OCR, optical character recognition?
If it's that, SimpleOCR does the trick for me. (The freeware version).
