You should probably ask with whoever you bought it from. Installing Windows XP without a valid License Key is illegal. If you have a computer that originally came pre-installed with Windows XP than it has an OEM license. Most manufacturers nowadays place the license key somewhere on the outside of the case. If you have that original license key than all you need to do is get a copy of Windows XP Oem version (it must be an OEM CD, a retail CD version will not work with an OEM license key) from someone and use that original license key to reinstall Windows.
