I'm trying to open a document that has a list of Japanese surnames, how common they are, and their Kanji reading, but Microsoft Office doesn't show the Kanji. I've got multiple Kanji fonts installed(I have Windows 7), but I don't know which ones I need to download in order for the Kanji to show up on Windows Office.
Thanks for help!|||You need to install the regional language.
Go to:
Start>Control Panel>Clock,Language,Region>Regional and Language Options> Keyboards and Languages tab > Change Keyboards > Click Add > Check Japanese -- Under keyboard check Japanese and Microsoft IME > CLick Ok/Apply...
Open up Microsoft Word-- Lets see if it works... This installs the Japanese language pack.. You can also type in Japanese too.
