It won't disappear unless you (or someone else on your computer) uninstalls it.|||Once you've bought and used a valid license, you have the right to Office in perpetuity -- forever. It does not expire. I'm still using my Office 2002 on my XP machine. The home and student edition may not, however, qualify you for upgrade discounts on future versions of Office. Hope that helps.
