I believe you mean Microsoft Office, not Windows Office. Office is application software, such as a word processor (MS Word), spreadsheet (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), etc.
Windows XP is the operating system. The operating system is used to run all the software applications on your computer. It also is used to manage the hardware. It is the main software you use to interact with everything on your computer and it hosts your applications.
Office is just one of those applications. You need an operating system on your computer, whether XP or some other one. But installing Office is totally optional and depends on whether you need to use those specific programs.|||windows Xp Pro is an Operating System and Windows Office is application software were you have Word, Excel , Power and more..!!|||Windows XP proffesional is an operating system, just like windows vista and xp home. Office is a suite of programs including Word, Excel etc.
Office proffesional and office xp are both version of this suite. The proffesional one has the contact manager disk and more applications
