If you recently installed it, look for new icons either on your desktop or in your Start Menu. Usually if there are new programs that were recently installed, they would be highlighted somehow when you go to Start-Programs (or they would be the last ones in the list that pops up).
If you purchased it and downloaded it but didn't install it yet, look for it on your computer. Downloads are sometimes saved in My Documents, but that default sometimes might be changed depending on how much you download. If you can't find it in My Documents, do a search for it. You'll have to know either the file name or the date you downloaded it, so you can configure your search parameters to look for a specific file or date range. Once you find it, you can install it and then look for the icons on your desktop or Start Menu.
If you mean "shared" as "shared over a network" you may have to contact your system administrator to see exactly how to access your programs and if the SA is going to put a shortcut to the programs on everyone's computer.
