windows office: i getting a Laptop From Pc World and i have just found out that it does not come with Windows Office 2003 or 2007 where could i get it for free but i need for example Powerpoint , exel , word etc etc etc|||Unfortunately, MICROSOFT office is not free (unless you get it from a friend and that's illegal). You CAN buy a student version (does not come with Access, but most folks don't use Access anyway) for about $150; less on ebay if you can find it.|||you'll need to buy the software, nothing in the world is free!|||its not easy to find free microsoft office & is mostly illegal but you could try torrent or limewire. just don't update it. may i suggest open office instead? it is a great office software & it's comletely free. it has everything you ever need for office work|||There is no "legal" free Microsoft Office download. You can download a 60 trial, or you can download Open Office for free. It will open and edit just about all MS files. You can get a student/teacher version of Office. I think the price is somewhere around $150 - 160. The full version starts around $480, and goes up depending just how many of the Office Suite programs that you need.|||You aren't able to get it for free.. (would be nice). But for free temporarily, you can download all of those off of Microsoft's website. You can try - Lotus SmartSuite / Corel WordPerfect Office / Ashampoo Office suite as low cost alternatives. You can also try OpenOffice / IBM Symphony as zero-cost alternatives. Individual programs such as AbiWord also work great.
