i getting a Laptop From Pc World and i have just found out that it does not come with Windows Office 2003 or 2007
where could i get it for free but i need for example Powerpoint , exel , word etc etc etc|||Unfortunately, MICROSOFT office is not free (unless you get it from a friend and that's illegal). You CAN buy a student version (does not come with Access, but most folks don't use Access anyway) for about $150; less on ebay if you can find it.|||you'll need to buy the software, nothing in the world is free!|||its not easy to find free microsoft office & is mostly illegal but you could try torrent or limewire. just don't update it. may i suggest open office instead? it is a great office software & it's comletely free. it has everything you ever need for office work|||There is no "legal" free Microsoft Office download. You can download a 60 trial, or you can download Open Office for free. It will open and edit just about all MS files.
You can get a student/teacher version of Office. I think the price is somewhere around $150 - 160. The full version starts around $480, and goes up depending just how many of the Office Suite programs that you need.|||You aren't able to get it for free.. (would be nice).
But for free temporarily, you can download all of those off of Microsoft's website. I think they are 60 day trials.|||My vote towards mininova.org (bittorent portal)
Ehh.. whats the point ot pay for 'alternatives' if u still gonna pay and dont get what u want - WTF?
if u really want to safe and get good tool use OpenOffice its free free free, updated frequently and just perfect for someone who dont need office suite and got problems with piracy.|||You can get it free from a P2P like Bittorrent but it is NOT legal!!|||bittorrent.com.
trust me, download the newest version.|||you cant get ms office for free but you should check out open office, its compatible with all ms office applications. you can get it at www.openoffice.org|||MS Office is by far the most expensive of office suites. You can try - Lotus SmartSuite / Corel WordPerfect Office / Ashampoo Office suite as low cost alternatives.
You can also try OpenOffice / IBM Symphony as zero-cost alternatives.
Individual programs such as AbiWord also work great.
