I鈥檓 trying to upgrade from Microsoft Office 2003 to 2007. It looks like I need to fix error 1311 somehow. I keep getting this message: "Error 1311 Source file not found Cabinetfile.cab (ie. sku112.cab)" or this one: "Error 1311 Cannot locate source file Cabinetfile.cab." How do I make this stop and get on with installing Office 2007?|||Unfortunately, this isn鈥檛 a very specific error message. Error 1311鈥檚 ultimately happen because the communication between the computer and the source file isn鈥檛 working right. I would have to know more about your set up to give you a specific answer, but here are the most common reasons it happens:

鈥?It can happen if you鈥檙e installing it on your computer from another that other people have access to.
鈥?If the source file is in the cabinet files on this remote computer.
鈥?If someone else on your network is using the source file.
鈥?If the source computer鈥檚 OS is the original, not updated Windows XP and yours has been updated.
鈥?If you鈥檙e not on a network, then there is probably a registry issue. This could happen if you鈥檙e on a network, too.

If you鈥檙e on a network, I would tell your network administrator about the problem. If you鈥檙e not on a network, it most definitely is a registry issue. To fix it, go here: http://optimize-your-pc.com/regcure/repairing_errors.php. This registry cleaning program is the best one out there in my book. It鈥檚 quick, it鈥檚 easy to use, and it鈥檚 thorough. Good luck!|||I think this is the window registry error file that is creating problem in your system. So i don't want to confused so that Its compulsory to you to download registry easy because only this is the way to remove this error.
