I mean, it probably is as simple as putting in the disk, right? Will there be things I'll have to check off or fill in on the screen? I am afraid of doing something wrong the first time I ever install a program. I want to do it myself. What exactly is the procedure. Also, where can I buy Windows Office for home & student as inexpensive as possible? Thanks.|||okay. you re right that you want to do this by yourself! is very easy. it doen't matter if you are computer "freak" or not, all of the instructions are on the screen step by step. there is not a way that you can not make it. put the disk in the slot, a massage on the screen will appear. then by using next (only!!) you can istall them in 4 minutes. the only time that you will not have to hit next is when it will ask you to enter the key. that is a 16 digit code at the back side (usually) of the manual. i would tell you to get it from some friends if they have it bc buying one is not worth it. if you have limewire, e-mule you can find it from an other user for free and easy. if you want to buy one (bc you want to be "loyal" ) try online. you can never get something cheaper , only online.|||It's not hard but save yourself some money and frustration. Try Open Office, a free alternative to Microsoft Office and is completely compatible with Office programs. Just download and install and just choose the options that makes the most sense, if you choose something wrong, it's not going to hurt anything. Good luck!
